Risk Bridge project heritage with IRGC
The EU funded Risk Bridge project was concluded in June 2009 with the delivery of its final report. Aimed at “building robust, integrative inter-disciplinary governance models for emerging and existing risks”, the project has developed an integrated risk governance framework and sought opportunities to connect risk assessment, management and communication. In addition to the framework itself, the project has focused on six selected risk fields – stem cells, radio-active waste, nanotechnology, climate change, sediments and electromagnetic fields. The final project output includes policy recommendations for the risk governance of each of them.
