Since July 2008, Dr Lutz Cleemann is Senior Adviser Allianz SE.
Previously, he was the Managing Director of the Allianz Center for Technology (AZT) – a subsidiary of the insurance branch of Allianz Group and the largest on-site research centre within
the insurance industry in Germany. Dedicated to damage and risk research and prevention, AZT
provides research and consulting services in areas such as Damage Analysis, Operational
Safety, Analysis of Technical Risks, Due Diligence, Risk and Safety Management, Sustainable
Development Strategies.
Lutz Cleemann holds a PhD in Experimental Nuclear Physics from the University of Cologne and has extensive experience in risk consulting, technology assessment and safety research. He also serves as Chairman of the International Sustainability Strategy Team of the Allianz Group and is the company’s Liaisons Delegate for the WBCSD of the Allianz Group
