It is IRGC’s main oversight and decision-making organ. Board members, all of whom hold honorary office on an individual basis, are drawn from governments, industry, science and non-governmental organisations. The Foundation Board is responsible for IRGC’s strategy. It approves the business plan and budget, the annual report and financial statements. It appoints members of the Scientific and Technical Council and Advisory Committee. It is responsible for overall fundraising.
